This Stainless Steel Trailer Leaf Spring U-Bolt kit fits 2 inch by 2 inch square axles and prevents rust in the harsh marine environments. This U-Bolt Kit is used to mount your trailer leaf springs to your axle by using the 2 U-Bolts and 4 hole plates. This kit includes (4) 1/2 x 2 x 4 5/16 inch square Stainless Steel U-Bolts, (2) stainless steel 4 Hole Mounting Plates, (8) Stainless Steel nuts and lock washers. These stainless steel U bolts will pay for themselves the next time around, saving you money and time. Use of a lithium or graphite based lubricant is recommended during installation to prevent galling. U-bolts must be tightened using hand tools ONLY and threaded on correctly. Improper threading, use of power tools, over-tightening or tightening too fast will result in galling or sticking of the U-bolt.
